 Sealing air ducts help create a more energy efficient home. No doubt about it. But the application of mastic can get messy real fast. In addition, duct sealing will be the last job most brushes will be apart of. Because of drying mastic most brushes can't be cleaned enough to use again. But that's why Mastic Brushes were created. Cheap, effective and disposable are the strong point of Mastic Brushes. If old easily disposable paint brushes are not available for use, then Mastic Brushes are the way to go. Mastic Brushes should always be apart of any duct sealing project. If you decide to purchase this product, please post your opinion and help future consumers make informed decisions.

 This 2" Mastic Brush is manufactured with natural bristles and wooden handles which make them ideal for applying Mastic and Adhesives to all types of substrates. They are reusable and can be cleaned repeatedly, but since they are low cost they can also be disposed of when the job is finished. Mastic Brushes are also ideal for cleaning coils and for dusting off parts, equipment and ductwork. They can be used with solvent-type parts cleaners.
